Remotely Control Powered Devices Over IP Networks

The AlertWerks 220VAC, normally open Power Switch Sensor enables remote control of connected electrical devices through the AlertWerks environmental monitoring system. Ideal for managing equipment in data centers, network closets, industrial facilities, and remote locations. It allows administrators to remotely switch power to connected devices over the local network or remotely.

The sensor is powered by the AlertWerks gateway, eliminating the need for an external power source and simplifying installation. Operating in a normally closed state, the relay can be switched from the gateways WebUI, or by creating automated responses to environmental conditions, alarms, or user-defined events.

Built-in metal oxide varistors and protective circuitry help safeguard connected equipment from electrical disturbances, improving reliability in demanding environments. The included 5-foot (1.5-m) CAT5 cable provides quick deployment and can be replaced with CAT5 cabling up to 100 feet (30 meters) long for greater installation flexibility.
