The 12 Gbps Adaptec SmartHBA 2100-16i Host Bus Adapter has 16 internal SAS/SATA ports in a x8 PCIe Gen 3 low-profile, MD2 form factor and uniquely combines the capabilities of a full-featured host bus adapter (HBA) with those of a basic RAID adapter using hardware RAID.
